Thank You's - July 1, 2006

Firstly, I'd like to thank some PHOTOGRAPHERS for kindly providing me with some great images that I've been able to use both for professional applications and simply for entertainment.

Peter Damo and Robert Forbes particularly, and also some recent contributions from musicians Ken Davis and Mike Wade. And, in Beijing, our American friend James Sarzotti. Thanks to all, sincerely.

Musings.

TOKYO
I went to Tokyo to work on August 17, 2000. It was a life-changing experience; “Isolation” happened. I learnt a lot, about love - loving life, loving the self, loving God, loving others. I met some of the finest human souls I’ve ever come to know. I will never be the same after what I experienced in Tokyo.

I came to love and respect the Japanese psyche very much. From being a giant behemoth of a city that, for a while, I convinced myself to despise and fear, I now consider Tokyo as my ‘teacher’. And I love ‘her’. She is my friend and I am intimate with her. I can walk her streets with love and thanks.

BEIJING / CHINA
I went to Beijing in June 2005. I experienced 3 of the best months I can remember in my life. I love the Chinese people. In a “world” so very different from the “world” I grew up in (in Australia) I was instantly 'extremely comfortable'. My Chinese friends are among my dearest. Beijing is amazing, and equally 'hard' and 'soft'. Yin and Yang.

RAJA YOGA
I went to a building in Crown St., Surry Hills (Sydney) in 1983. What can I say about a spiritual philosophy and life-style that fundamentally changed my life and continues to affect me positively, every day I live? Whereby I met a global family of souls who were “on the same page” as it were. Where I found out about God, really!

As per ANY self-transformation methodology, it’s always down to one’s own work, how one applies what one is given. But, in my mind, there is NO doubt that the path of Raja Yoga is MY path. Much, much more can be said. And, let no man ever claim that any individual does not have the right to their own "path"!
